For Sale 1989 Guild Nightbird Excellent Condition

I am reluctantly placing my 1989 Guild Nightbird with OHSC up for sale. Reason for sale is to help out with tuition costs for my son. I already have a 1987 guild nightbird and this '89 is in better condition. It has a nice ROUNDED '59 neck profile that is not too thick nor too thin. It also has a 25 1/2 inch scale neck. I originally purchased this advertised as a 1990 Nightbird custom, but Hans Moust has emailed me in the past that it is not and He has checked the serial number BL100532 out for me. The history of the guitar is that is was purchased from a lady that stored in under her bed and took it out to play every now and then. Thus, the guitar shows no fretware. Since I have owned it, I have only played it twice, once to check it out at purchase and the other before the listing. It has been stored in my environmentally controlled room, smoke and pet free home. Knowing the rarity and desirability of this model guitar, it was really purchased for an investment and not for a player. As for the condition, the gold hardware shows slight signs of edge-ware. The back of the neck is ding free with the exception of one slight surface depression that is smaller than the size of a BB and can only be seen when light reflects at the correct viewing angle. I have sensitive fingers and I cannot feel this. The back side of the body shows slight button scratches that can be buffed out. They are only surface and do not penetrate into the wood. A small finish chip missing from the edge of the backside headstock was filled in with color correct finish. It was purchased that way. Lastly, their is a ding on the front of the body that is the size of a BB and that is noticeable from within a few feet from the guitar. Overall, the guitar is in excellent condition, but if you are looking for that mint museum piece, this may not be the guitar you are looking for. A good buffing wheel could however bring this guitar back to outstanding condition.
