This may be just the way the picture was taken but it looks like flamed white blonde.

That's pretty nice. I don't think there was a vintage white that looked like this. Yup, I'm sure that's translucent white on a flamed maple top. Pretty!

dude... where'd you find the photo? And if it was from an ad, what did it say? You throw things out with no background or anything. What's your question.... WHERE DID IT COME FROM???

I had saved the photo yesterday - when I was looking through pics in my photos I found it and thought I'd post.
Took a while but this looks like it. It appears to be a natural It must be the way it was photographed.
It's stunning.

Gotcha'.... OK, so the picture in F30's posts looks like it's almost white, but it's not... Yup. :D Natural it is.
Yes, those Sam Ash pictures are not of good quality, so they truely look like whitewashed, agreed.

I was also fooled by F30's title here as well, calling it "Ice." I thought that was a new color, which is kind of appropriate if that "natural" top in the Sam Ash picture. Even "Ivory" would be a good name for that coloring. Anyway, tallyho. You can't go wrong with flamed maple. :)

Didn't mean to cause confusion but when I tried to find where I got the pic on the web it was tough.
Guild should consider a color like this picture somewhat misrepresents.... :)

Image from the Guild website, so probably closer to what the guitar really looks like. I do like the look of natural blonde flame maple, but I also like the look of the first picture as well. Ice cool!

It's stunning.
For sure! Figured maple is stunning! Only recently did I see a figured maple that I thought was a little overwhelming. In almost all other cases, you just can't beat it. I have some unbelievable 3-dimensional quilting on my Taylor that I'll have to share... Have to dredge up a picture.
