The D-55 is a very eye-catching model, and the CT edition fulfilled that legacy. Nice looking guitar, the woodworking and finish all seemed top-notch to me. The open back tuners... just a mistake on this model. My opinion. Tacoma legacy... gee... you know I think the D-55 looks regal but it's the tone that counts. Tacoma met Westerly, IMO. But Westerly set the sonic standard for the model. This particular CT guitar sounded like a good guitar too, no doubt. Just different from what I expected. Someone will be very happy with this guitar!
