We played a gig at a local festival called Untorock (Utajärvi, Finland) and I had my S300A on stage for the first time with my band Kozaks of Metallishtan. The S300 made my job easy even though I both sing and play + fiddle with a bunch of effects pedals (od, wah, phaser, delay, envelope filter, channel switch) simultaneously. Compared to my previous live axe, Eastwood Airline town & country, the S300 was better sounding, easier to play and more reliable. And of course, it looks fantastic! The only downside is the weight but it doesn't become an issue when the gig is max 1 hour long. I felt it in my shoulders after a three hour practise though.

Here are some photos from the festival. Contains pics of all performers. We are the goofiest looking dudes ;)

Thanks. As for goofy I have to say that the bass that would not be allowed in any "zero tolerance" US schools gets my vote, especially with with the weasel curled up on the bassist's head ;-)

Kozaks of Metallishtan! Nice! I like this shot the best. The beauty of the 'burst really pops.

Different facial hair, same great guitar/guitarist. And kudos on the great fashion statement by your bass-playing lead singer.

Very cool photos! I'm glad the S-300 is working out for you.

Finland seems to be a bit of a hot spot for bands. My god-daughter was way into Finnish bands recently. I haven't caught up yet so am still stuck with The Leningrad Cowboys (who are a lot of fun). With them watching some Finnish films there seems to be an offbeat feel to the humour which comes out of there, which I really like.

Thanks for all the comments! I like to tease our bass player about the dead mouse in his hat because that's what it looks like. But his vest is just amazing and we found it from a flea market :) And Thunderface, we are actually both lead singers and we do a LOT of harmonics stuff together. Nice that you noticed my facial hair, it has a life of its own!

Leningrad Cowboys are legends but if you want to check out some films that in my opinion reflect the true Finnish sentiment you might want to google the Kaurismäki brothers (especially Aki).
