This acoustic blast from the past is written and song by then (1964?) 13 year old Janis Ian. Its quite a mature song for a teenager. Somewhat of an emotional song in the top 40, from back when listening to the words was optional. Check out that song-selling keyboard riff at the song's end. This song is, admittedly, not really on my "top song ever" list.

Slight veer here, as a LONGTIME Quicksilver fan..(Since 1969 as kid listening to the first two vinyls). Made a new buddy on the forum here who gets out a little more than I do, and he hadn't heard that vintage stuff, but he HAS seen Gary Duncan (the under-appreciated rhythm guitarist through early '69), still playing some local events here in the SF bay area. Just thought you'd like to hear that. 8)
