Very interesting collection. Here's an image of my Archtop wall rack. They're an Aria Pro II PE-175 Herb Ellis (1980), Guild AA (1992) and Gibson L-5 Wes Montgomery (2005). (By the way, you'd be amazed at how close that Herb Ellis guitar can come to the L-5 sound -- anybody looking for quality tone and playability at very low cost should keep an eye out for one of these.)

Thanks, guys, glad you liked the photos. The two "G" guitars on the right were retirement presents to myself. I'd decided that I really wanted to be a jazz guitarist when I grow up. Such a long, long way to go, however; a long way to go with my guitar playing too!

But why the Guild AND the Gibson? Thought I was shopping for a Gibson, but discovered the Guild first. It was far too nice to pass up. I'd never had a carved archtop before. About a year later, along came the L-5 that I'd wanted since . . . forever. Wondering if I'd missed the boat, I bought it too thinking I'd sell whichever one didn't measure up to the other. I would never have imagined that two guitars of such similar design could be so different in their tone. Still infatuated with both of them now. Play the Guild every day and the Gibson most days too.

Hey, L4sleeko, that L-4 is a beauty! Nice color too.
