Leo Kottke also recorded an arrangement of this hymn on his "6 & 12 String Guitar" (armadillo) album. It's a good one!

Pike,
Are you in Salem? If so, it was I who bought your DV52. One of the sweetest Guilds I have. Hope all is well. We're gonna move to Salem full time this fall.
Best wishes,
TJ (Terry)

Hi Elrod; you're welcome; links from my vote for John Fahey in LTG's Favorite Contemporary Guitarist thread. Ok; ........ he's not around anymore but he and I are contemporaries;

YouTube; Red Pony, John Fahey
Fahey/Wiki.
Founder of Takoma Records (discography) which includes Leo Kottke's 1968 landmark 'Armadillo' album.

He was 'Blind Joe Death' from the suburbs of Washington DC.

Yeah, I know of him from way back, but it's nice having an audio/video link posted in this thread.
Tacoma Records released a lot of great stuff.

Hi Pike; if you want to sing along with Mark:

In Christ there is no East or West,
In Him no South or North;
But one great fellowship of love
Throughout the whole wide earth.

In Him shall true hearts everywhere
Their high communion find;
His service is the golden cord,
Close binding humankind.

Join hands, then, members of the faith,
Whatever your race may be!
Who serves my Father as His child
Is surely kin to me.

In Christ now meet both East and West,
In Him meet North and South;
All Christly souls are one in Him
Throughout the whole wide earth.

Link to the melody played hymnal style: In Christ There Is No ...

You're welcome Pike; I've had the pleasure of listening to Mark in person and can say that between his lovely G312 and his ability, he can make Mary Had A Little Lamb worth listening to. The rest of his songbook ... well ... it's all good too. John
