Hi,
My Hans book is tucked away at the moment and was curious as to the vintage of the mahogany backed F48 jumbo? I don't recall too many references to that model here, although by searching, I see a few of you have them.
Thanks,
tj

Hello Dave,

The 'end of 1976' date in my book is a typo. That should be 'the end of 1975'.
1976: Discontinued is obviously correct.

Sincerely,

Hans Moust

No offense intended, Hans. Just quoting both the sources I had on hand. Your book was/is an incredible resource, not to be diminished by a typo. Can't wait to read volume 2! Dave

I'm wondering if we're going to see the F-48 re-appear from New Hartford as part of the Standard Series. The F-212XL is back, and, well, I wouldn't be surprised...

I would date an F48 in a heartbeat. I'd marry one in a heartbeat. Just need to find one that's single...

That would be too cool...been wanting a F48 for a VERY long time, and of the few I've found for sale, I either couldn't raise the $$$ soon enough or someone got there 1st...but I will prevail, eventually! 8)
