That's a Corona built version, @Pierandy . Which puts it between 2002 - 2004ish. Hopefully someone can give you a more precise date.

Could we see more pictures of it? It looks great from the headstock! :D :D

Welcome aboard.

Oh my gosh! That's wonderful and rare, Pierandy. Thanks for sharing the pictures. Hope you're enjoying it.
Thanks to you again … yes it is a great guitar and the sound is amazing even if not so deep( probably because of soundboard not too big), unfortunately I use that quite rarely because I am a jazz guitarist and I usually use other kinds of guitars.

Andy, the "depth" of these (and other) models changed significantly -- over an inch, between 4 and 5 inches -- over the years of Guild production, but I am completely convinced that the sound never suffered one way or the other. In fact, I have ended up with mostly the "shallower" bodies of the more recent models in my hands over the years, and I think they are just the bees knees.

HI Pierandi, welcome!

They only put that "Handcrafted..." decal on the back of the headstock for the first year or so of production, and that s/n is so low, #115, that I'm willing to bet it's an '02 build, first year of Corona production.

There may be a date stamp on the end block inside the guitar, a detail we discovered recently about Coronas. In Westerly, the previous factory, that date was the date the rim was completed, but actual completion of the guitar could be anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months for really slow moving models. Don't know if that still applied in Corona, but it would make sense.
