Well, she finally came back today from the luthiers. Bottom crack at end pin glued up nice, bridge reglued and a JLD bridge doctor installed plus a new set of martin sp PB extra lights. This is going to be a take my time project as now I am just going to play the heck out of this guitar and humidify it and tweak the bridge doctor over the next couple of months...the top should settle in to where it likes to be and then we will see about a new (hopefully higher) saddle and no need for a neck reset. The neck and truss rods are in great shape as are the frets. As it is the guitar sounds delicous...what a great tone it has, the notes all blend together beautifully! It was a long wait but well worth it! So glad I finally got a Guild! My Tacoma is going to have to play second fidddle now...the neck on it is thinner so I can play it when my hand starts to get sore. Well, back to playing!
