I'd like to find me a nice vintage F-47, but I need to get an answer from the experts here. Did they ever make any of these with 1 3/4" nut width? That's really important to me as I get older. The 1 11/16" width is just not comfortable for me anymore. So before I begin a search, I want to establish first if there are even any out there with the wider nut to pursue. Thanks.

This thread from a couple years ago might help you find a Guild with your preferred nut width:

If any were built that way the most likely candidates would be in the first couple of years, '63-'65, when Guild did put 1-3/4" nuts on some models, but there's no way of knowing if an instrument has it without measuring. Don't recall ever haring of a standard 1-3/4" width on those.
