Hey all.
I just bought a new rosewood F-47 (made in Tacoma) and the thing is amazing. It really has no weaknesses: loud, punchy, crisp. And the red spruce top is about the nicest one I've ever seen-- looks like sitka the grain is so uniform. Makes me wonder where they get such good stuff!
Anyone else played one of these? For about $1500 out the door, they are an incredible value. It is really giving my '65 D-40 a run for its money (and the rest of my stable too!). It's now my "go to" guitar-- the one I always tend to pick up to noodle around the house. It's not really the bluegrass machine my Collings or Martin is (nor should it be), but for everything else, its awesome.
