Owner of 2512
Jasyr, I've had the F2512 for about six months. It's a nice guitar. I can't imagine it's up to the standard of its American made counterpart, nonetheless, it ain't too shabby. I wouldn't want to bang it around because its construction is light, but the 2512 still is solid enough, and its construction is clean. Yes, light but bright and responsive. I have it with 47s tuned down half a step. The bass seems to really growl, and the mids and treble blend nicely. Not much frill(I think there is a deluxe version out now with gold hardware, maple neck, and flamed back). Light poly matte finish on body and neck, which I like. The neck feels good. A bit of buzz when it first arrived. Truss rod adjustment corrected buzz without adding much relief. I've not measured the action but it's a perfect medium for me.
