This is my 24th parts build. I don't know why I keep doing this...I have too many telecasters but I just love them and love seeing how they come together. Anyway...
- nitro-finished swamp ash body by MJT-alum BloomDoom. This will age very quickly. Some checking already evident plus a few little scuffs and marks just from use over three months or so.
- mint guard
- Allparts TRO-Fat neck in thin satin nitro
- Vintage style Wilkinson tuners
- Fender NoCaster neck PU (pretty sure)
- SD Broadcaster bridge pickup
- Pro-made wiring harness for this one, sounds great, no issues (CTS, Oak, Neutrik, Vol Bleed, cloth pushback wiring)
- High end nickel hardware throughout
- Fender bridge with, I believe, CJ Tooling compensated saddles. They are either CJT or Rutters...can't quite recall.
- Weighs 7lbs, 2oz.
- Currently has 11-49s and action is set up VERY low. New owner may want to tweak.
- ONE ISSUE...I slipped when drilling a pilot hole for a pickup mount and there is a small hole in the back. See the photo. I couldn't believe I did this....
- KACES III nice gig bag included.
This build sounds huge and resonant and has a very hi-fi vibe with lots of twang and sparkle. Not a dark tele but has more of a woody tone and thump than some others I've experienced. $975 shipped CONUS. I would also be interested in trading for a Guild dread or some sort of Starfire. I would also be interested in a non-dread 12-string Try me!
