Typical guitar hard cases are not designed for protection during shipping. That's the packaging's job.

It was just a case. Not a guitar inside a case. Just a new case fir my guitar

Welcome to LTG and congrats on your X-500T! They are very cool guitars!
I just tried putting my X-500T in the case for my Newark Street X-175. It fits fine for length and width, but not depth. The X-500 is 3/8 inch deeper than the NS X-175 and the lid will not close without forcing it. There would be too much pressure applied by the padding in the lid to the bridge and Bigsby of the X-500. Bottom line, it's not a good fit. Sorry.

So my Guild USA Premium Humidified Archtop Jumbo Acoustic Guitar Case Just arrived! It fits perfect!! Nice and snug and enough depth for the bigsby!
It’s a beautiful case. I found a b-stock one from pro audio star for $150! so much better quality that the case that I had to send back because it arrived damaged.

Found the perfect case. Fits snug like a bug in a rug! With plenty of space on top for the tremolo arm!
