Sure enough, 10 minutes after auction ended, the buyer is listed as "No longer registered user"... Anyway, I contacted ebay, under reason for requesting refund of my listing fee, I clicked on "Buyer no longer registered" and was instantly refunded.

Say, David, any chance our now multi-negative "buyer" will become no longer registered?

He's had my $1K+ now for over two weeks. Claims he sent the guitar but does not have the tracking number. Won't return my phone calls.

I found his blog web site: http://louis.burgh.googlepages.com/ and told him I'm running very short on patience. Lives in Saugerties NY. I'll keep you posted.

BY THEIR EBAY ACCOUNT NAMES, WHICH ARE PUBLIC ON EBAY.

Just noticed yet ANOTHER new listing for a Starfire, WHICH IS RELISTED DUE TO NON PAYING BIDDER !!!!

If we can have our own little resource to check here perhaps we can cover ourselves by reserving the right to cancel bids/sales from some of these Turkeys....oops, that's another Holiday make that "Gooses" :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

And maybe we can cook theirs... :twisted: :mrgreen: :lol:

Wait for Don on the subject: he and i went through this last year when I wanted to crucify a Guild amp ebay seller here. No matter how protective it might seem to prevent other BBers from being hosed or gratifying to vent, this BB is as public as a corner tavern where most patrons drink Guild beer. But it doesn't prevent some eBay seller wandering in and reading disparaging remarks about himself.

Despite hard feelings, things are not facts in our society until Judge Wapner says they are; otherwise dissing an ebay seller in e-public is the same as saying Suzie so-and-so is a Ho e-publicly..... not enough upside to warrant the down-side risk but it's Don's call; I guess he coulda changed his mind since last year but he's certainly had any number of opportunities to do so and hasn't yet ... or at least so far. cj

Then anyone of us buying or selling could check here to see if that Ebay name appears on this list and then check it out on Ebay.
