Just wonder if anyone using Office Outlook 2003 can solve this glitch as my server can't who support Outlook Express for e-mail . Just had a format done and tried to get my e-mail up and going along with my wife. Using old data written down tried to duplicate.My e-mail is fine and guess my e-mail is defalt user and she is listed as #1 ieg server.ca (1 ) . When she goes to her e-mail my e-mails are going into her account. This is not happening with me getting her e-mails.When Iview her settings my original user always becomes defalt. The other settings like her IN/OUT type of server appears right to my internet help people who were no help. Tried to push me off to a Microsoft Help desk where Inever talked to a real person and it wanted me to pay for advice.Shame on you BILL GATES :!: :!: :!:
There is a button in personal profile to tell setting to make defalt so should Ihighlight her account#1 and click make defalt? Also Think I typed in my old password so wonder if need to set her up a new password? Could that be trouble. When you run the four part test it comes up fine and passes sending her a test e-mail.Please drop me a private message if you have a hunch with thanks in advance.
By the way also never had computer icon in task bar after format. After a few hours of hunting found that propblem. To restore follow these steps
Go to control panel
- Network Connections icon -click
-scroll down to bottom left properties-click
Add a check in box for heading show icon notification area when connected
Up she will come -nanccinut
