I have been doing a lot of re-arranging of my Guild photo album, in light of the recent sales of four of my Guilds, and realized I never really took any portraits of the '94 DV-72MK I acquired from Derrick last fall... just group shots and a couple with its younger sister ('95 DV-73). So I shot a few this afternoon. It also gave me a chance to experiment a little more with my new Christmas camera (an Olympus OMD EM-10 micro-4/3) and the new edition of Lightroom and Photoshop. Thought I would share...

Wow! Thanks for the photos, Dave!! That thing is just stunning! If no one else is gonna ask, why do you have so many Girl Scout Cookies? I only have one box left..... :encouragement:

Anne is the cookie booth manager for my daughters troop

Thanks folks. Glad to share the pics with those that appreciate them... I am going to be re-shooting pics some of my others Guilds over the next couple days. Should I shoot some of the cookies?

I'm down to a half box of 'Smores. Can't conceive how you'd still have 143 cases (unless someone is a GS Leader?) of those tasty, and highly addictive GS Cookies still around in March? Nice guitar, and though I've paired down the collection to a couple of jumbos, and haven't owned a dred in a number of years....if one of these came up, I'd be tempted.

The schedule of cookie sales varies with region. We just picked them up Saturday, and booths start in 2 weeks. We'll have cookies in the basement thru the end of April. The temptation can be overpowering at times...

Not only is that a great looking Guild, I can testify that it sounds as good as it looks.
Dave, you still need to open your mind to a Guild 12 string.
Once you get one, you will find out many songs sound wonderful when played on a 122 string.
You will probably want to stay with a Dred body though.
I doubt that anyone will be able to get you interested in a Jumbo. LOL

Maybe I will... Although I have reduced my "collection" to just five Guilds (once the weather warms enough for me to ship Neal's G-37... Friday, fingers crossed!), I don't expect I have bought my last Guild. It looks a little lonely down in my guitar cave, and I have three empty stands. But, I haven't been this GAS-free for years, and don't have any idea what my next acquisition might be. I'll be trying to hold out for a couple years... and then we'll see what comes along.

Orpheum? Kind of like when a man graduates from beer to scotch. I am still on beer :)
