I am selling my DV-52 HG in almost flawless condition. It has just been sitting in the case for the last several years.I have given up trying to learn how to play.My fingers just aren't nimble enough from years of construction work and motorcycle riding. There is a small nick on the top of the head that wouldn't be noticed unless you knew it was there.Otherwise I can't find any other flaws. This truly is a beautiful great sounding guitar and is being wasted just sitting. It comes with a SKB hardshell case.I am not in a hurry to sell it.I did purchase it new and still have the original hang tags. The serial # is AD522480 and was made in Westerly,RI.I would like $1100 plus any other fees(PayPal),plus shipping.

Re: DV-52 NT HG For Sale

Beautiful guitar, I'll be getting a small settlement for a car accident in about a month, If you still have it, I think I'd take it. If you want to put it in the closet for me, I'll find a way to get it under my Christmas tree.... for sure... Steffan
P.S. Now you got me itching, all over, and GAS is throughout the room, where are you located? Steffan
.......also, please don't use that stand without putting some cloth or leather around the rubber, it eats the finish of most guitars.

Re: DV-52 NT HG For Sale

I am located in northern Indiana (near Notre Dame).Rest assured, the guitar was gently placed on the stand. It was bad enough taking a pic outside with concrete underneath. This is not a stand that is used and there are no marks from it.This guitar has lived it's life in a case.I plan on leaving the guitar for sale on this site for a couple of weeks before placing it for sale on Ebay or somewhere else. Thanks,Mike

Just a hats off and congratulations to Jimistone who pm d me before completing the deal asking me if I was planning to go ahead with the deal...or should he go ahead and move on it. That is the kind of respect and courtesy that is found on this forum, more so than on the 'street'. in my opinion. I know the guitar is in good hands and in a happy home, so again congrats, I have a few nice guitars I'll just have to make do with.  no problemo.  Steffan

My address?

I'm easy to find. I'm 5 miles east of the Mississippi town of West...5 miles east of west.
I went to school at Weir High school. In the town of Weir. People will say "where?" and I say "Weir".."where?" "Weir!" "where?" "Wier!"
They think I'm mocking them.
Abbot and Costello could have had a field day with this. :)
Y'all know it's true because ya just can't make stuff like that up!

I went to guitar center today and went in "the room" and played the high end acoustics. The $2000 gibsons, Martins, and Taylors left me very unimpressed. Not one single guitar did I strum and say "man what a great tone!".
Maybe I was expecting too much and maybe they are just new and haven't opened up but...what a letdown.
Honestly my cheapo Peavey $189 ceader top acoustic sounded better that most of them and as good all of them.

Man, I hope the DV 52 has a better sound than the guitars I played today.

You know, I have up in the air plans to do some gypsy type wandering, next year, in my little Guildabego, I'll for sure keep you posted if I can pull it together, and meet you fine folks with your fine guitars, and fine cookin' east and west of the Mississippi...That would mean that y'all are on my Bucket list.... Steffan

The DV-52 has arrived. They tried to deliver it today but nobody was home. I'm off work tommorrow and I will pick it up.
I'm going to make sure it made the trip OK without damage and then put a brand new set of D'Addario 80/20 mediums on it.

I get to admire it and play it tommorrow and then it gets wrapped to go under our Christmas tree (that we haven't even set up yet) :(
That's the deal I made with my wife. This year I bought what I wanted to and she is going to buy what she wants...but it all gets wrapped and we have to wait until Christmas to open it.

I will have to leave Santa a big glass of milk and some chocolate chip cookies this year for sure...he knew I wanted a DV-52. :D
