Once again, this is for those who don't frequent the Guild site or do the Facebook thing, it's a nice little video about Doyle and his vintage Starfire guitar. It's fun to hear him talk about this guitar, about his relationship to Guild (which apparently goes back a ways) and it's never a problem listening to him play a bit. Oh My, I've never heard a Starfire sound quite like that before. Wow! That man is so very talented.
What a cool story there too.

Doyle is insanely talented, John, and just a wonderfully nice guy. He was Taylor's ambassador for a long time, and started up with Guild a couple of years ago.

There are very few people around who can name drop about playing with the likes of Chet Atkins and Merle Travis ... but Doyle's one of 'em. AT one of his recent clinics he showed how he'd incorporated their styles into his own. It was truly fascinating.
