By the way, I should have mentioned this previously, but... Treem was fantastic to deal with. Not only was this a great deal, but the guitar was in as pristine (or better) shape than described, shipping was hassle free & Treem's communication from sale through safe delivery was most appreciated.
I banged away on the guitar again last night, and I have to say that I'm simply blown away.
Funny thing is I never saw myself as a rosewood guy. My DV52 was one of the best sounding & playing guitars I'd ever heard, but I knew it's boomy overtones would be lost on a hack like me & would do much better in the hands of a better player.
Since then, I have acquired a Martin D-35 and now this F30R, and because of the Martin's lower key projection (compared to the DV52) and the F30R's smaller body, I have two amazing rosewood beauties.
I'll snap some photos & post them along with a more detailed review of the F30R at some point hopefully within the week. I can't wait to A/B it next my Martin 000-15, which is a similarly shaped/sized guitar.... though totally different construction (all mahogany).
Thanks again, Treem!!!
Anyways... good times are here again
