Does anyone know which model Guild this is?

It WAS on e bay, and I was watching it, until it was supposedly "damaged beyond repair". It was described as a D50.

Ahhhh....that one was/is the subject of another thread & the seller was being questioned about the validity of the auction.

Funny that the pictures of the "damage" are of a guitar with a cutaway. Scam.

Right. It is not a D-50. It's a D-Fraud. Someone in an earlier thread found the exact same pictures in a dealer's ad for a D-70. He's describing a D-50, but has photos of a D-70. Go figure.

It looks like a Guild by the shape of the headstock, and the pickguard. neck heel...I thought maybe Guild made some models early on that I never heard of. Maybe some limited editions or something.
I emailed the guy for close-ups, and that's when he told me it was "damaged beyond repair".
hmmm...

The damage was coutesy of the postal system in France. It WAS a Gibson Songwriter Deluxe. Now it's firewood...

Or a D70 from the 80s. Either way, it looks like it was a scam. The photos were from another website. evil-bay strikes again...

If it is like Germany's Postal System, which has been privatized and I have experience with while over there, then it wouldn't be pleasant dealing with them. What a waste of a good guitar! Good luck with them! :x
