Been out of print for quite a while, but kinda doubt anybody'd actually go that much for it. Suspect it's just one of those super-ambitious opening offers.

That book is quite uncommon. I doubt anyone would pay that, but you never know.

I got lucky last week and scored the Ted Beesley Guitar History Volume #5 - Guild Guitars for $20.00 on eBay. They really don't come up for sale that often, and when they do, they seem to be radically overpriced. It just arrived in somewhat decent shape. I can't wait to dig into it, well...

If Beesley's book had color photos, it would be so much better. I love the color photos in Hans' book...

Even though I look at mine often it is still in excellent condition. No intention of getting rid any time soon.
I'd probably price it ridiculously just so it wouldn't sell
