A custom shop F30r-ls just sold on ebay, and it just happened to be my old F30r-ls.

What's kind of interesting is that it didn't sell for any more than a garden-variety F-30R of the same period even though this is a Custom Shop guitar made in very limited numbers. Even came with that cool, Faux-Alligator Case, which wasn't cheap....
Maybe one of the contributing factors is that the GV Price Guide, a group of guys who appear not to be that impressed with Guilds, value it lower, $800-$1000, than the aforementioned common Aragon F-30R, which they say should go for $1200-$1500? Weird....

It doesn't make any sense, being that the F30r-ls is from the custom shop, therefore making it more or less a small shop, full-on handbuilt guitar. Hans provided me with the number made once before and it was pretty low, especially for just the rosewood models.

I love my F44 a lot, which is why I sold the F30r-ls - it just didn't make sense to me to have to "A" guitars. But I do miss it a little and honestly it's as good as any Martin OM28, or Santa Cruz OMPW I've ever played for sure. I can't count the number of times someone came up to me at a show, astounded by how good it sounded.

But that F44 and I, we just have so much mojo together . . . and sometimes that's just all there is.
