The Detonaters usually came with a two point pivot Mueller trem with string rollers. It is similar to the newer style Strats with the two pivot posts instead of the stock strat 6 screw models.

Yes: that's the one with the see-through mechanism and whammy bar ...

Ok, then that's the one that I need for this thing.
It's got a Kahler on it now and part of the trem cavity had to be routed out for it to fit. That makes sense. This thing didn't have a locking trem to begin with, nor did it have emg pups.

So this is what they came with, ordinarily?

Not exactly. The model on the basic Detonator and Liberator did not have those type of saddles. It had adjustable saddles with brass rollers. (I don't see rollers in the pictures. If they are there then you got the right one.) I can't see the image of the guitar your asking about but I wouldn't change the Kahler for a Mueller. You would expose to much routed wood in the process and the Kahler is a better trem system.

Just curious about what this thing used to come with. Like you said, if I switched trems, there would be about a 1/4" route visible on the side of the bridge. I'll replace the emg's but keep the bridge.
