You can see that this guitar fits my body much better than my F412. It definitely moves less air, but it sounds great!
It’s tuned to concert and came with D’Addario ej41s,extra light. I have a set of EJ 38s I;m thinking of tying.
My concern is this guitar is so light that it may be more tension than it can handle. I hope some people who have experience with this model will be able to either reassure or discourage me from trying it.

for whatever reason i cannot hear the sound but the EJ38s should be totally fine on an F112.
those are considered "light" gauge strings for 12s at .10-.47. will be fine and notice a bit more volume, power and should feel better too when strumming, not as jangly.

Me neither. According to Imgur: "Videos can be up to 30 seconds long, and you can choose whether or not to include sound. " So I think portsider forgot to upload the sound together with the video to Imgur.

I thought it was too good to be true when it finally worked. I’ll fix it soon.
Thanks Wes for the string answer.

Nicely done; I love the size and the intimacy they provide.
I’m sensing a channeling more along the lines of Rodney Crowell.
Enjoy in good health + spirits.

Nice, It must be the recording. My F112 with the D'Addario EXP 38, .!0-.47, sounds louder.

.010-.047 tuned to standard. It's a Guild. From the days of dual truss rods. Body as sturdily braced as the larger models. Enjoy!
That’s reassuring. I’ll give it a shot. I’ve been using Ernie Ball lights which are closer to the EJ41s. I may be too much of a wimp for the EJ38s but I want to give it a try.
Rodney Crowell.
I didn’t know Rodney Crowell so I checked him out. That’s quite a compliment.

I have a friend with a 77 F 112. He plays Kottke style slide stuff and it is wonderfully clear. 12 strings put out so much sound they don't need to be big. My little 0 size Pono sounds plenty big. The guitar is tiny.

Thanks. I kept messing up the clip. I realized I was wearing shorts. I don’t allow them when my band performs. So I put on jeans and nailed it (more or less).
Goes to show the clothes make the player.
