Hi Coastie: I guess you've probably already seen the schematic for the M-75 This may also be of some interest to you scroll to bottom Except for choosing tone caps and unless there's either a coil tap switch, master volume, or blend control on one but not the other, I have to think the M72 and M75 will be about the same; except for one of these, the functionalilty is identical.

Hi Coastie, I've looked at the Fender schematic for the M-75 and if you have a twin humbucker layout then I too think it would be identical. If you go to the Guild website and look at the schematics for Bluesbird,Bluesbird 90, StarfireII etc the wiring is identical. The only variation may be the value of the caps for the tone control but they are in the same place in the wiring. The thing with the M-75 schematic is it shows the same type of wire used as in your M-72. I know that schematics can look like just so many lines in black and white and the Guild schematics show a much simpler layout of the same thing. You will do it!!
All the best me old china,Steve.

Thank you gents.

I couldn't think of any reason why the M-72/75 schematics should be different from each other.

Juan, I posted that very picture here a very long time ago. got it from a Danelectro site. They called themselves the Dano somethings, maybe the Danoblasters. Wouldn't like to see them go on a reunion tour !
