Blue. Longscale fretted. They have s blue shorter scale and fretless.
Still not sure if that third knob is a preamp or not. Will switch out battery and see.

It seems to be a gain knob of some kind. Massive lows and gets a bit of overdrive but not as much distortion with a new battery. Full on the crockery comes off the shelf.
Personally I don’t like the way it feels with the rubbery strings. But you can get brittle highs and mudbucker Lows and it is a very powerful bass for sure. Gotta turn the interface channel way down.

To my ears it could be called volume-tone-bass overdrive boost.

Rondo wrote back and said the third knob is a bass knob but with bass volume full up it will distort and to turn the volume knob down a bit to not let it distort.
I find the controls very sensitive snd a little movement changes a lot.

They also said sand the silicone strings with sandpaper or steel wool slightly to get them less tacky. May help on the ashbory, too.
