Wouldn't surprise me if from new, like '92, as appearances date back pretty far.i think he has owned that one for a while, eh?
so all band members met and started performing together at RISD, in Providence RI. Well, most of them, it's possible one of them came over from the Modern Lovers when Jonathan Richman went solo...I know one of the Modern Lovers joined the Cars...
Rhode Island School of Design. A rather renowned art school...
Westerly is only like 35-40 mins away.

We've seen Byrne with Guilds for a while, but I think the Guild appearances were all after 1991 when Talking Heads were officially disbanded. (There's almost a pun there or at least some wordplay). If I had the time to down a rabbit hole and watch Stop Making Sense I might end up proving myself wrong
2002
The History and Heritage page says, "Lead singer David Byrne uses his solid-body Guild." Look at the strap and how that's hanging. It's definitely a very thin guitar. I did some recon, and holy crap what is this?No Guilds in STOP MAKING SENSE and although Oxnard has this cited as an S-100 on their "History and Heritage" page (with an accompanying pic of the F15ce seen here), doubtless due to the headstock/logo resemblance having been mis-credited before, it's not.:
There was a great Guild retail music store about one mile from RISD. South Main Music. They always had a store full of Guilds, at great prices. They were a authorized dealer since at least the 1970s. And many were hand picked at the factory. I bought my D15 there in 1986.i think he has owned that one for a while, eh?

Excellent! I knew it had been ID'd before but wasn't looking forward to the search!
Yeah, my bad, thought I fixed that, it's been ID'd as an S-100 elsewhere though. The History and Heritage page says, "Lead singer David Byrne uses his solid-body Guild."
