I still have my Thorens TD145 that I saved up for and bought as a senior in high school, and other than not picking up at the end of the side (like the similar TD160), it's still as great as ever. Has an Audio-Techica moving coil cartridge in it for a long time, but reverted to a Shure V15 Type III when I balked at the cost of getting the needle re-tipped for the AT. Absolutely adore it!
