Yeah Dread, Mary Ann for me all the way may she Rest In Peace. Though I wasn’t even a wrinkle in my dads testicle when that show was on. I watched reruns as a kid and in my pre-teen years. Always wondered how the Skip maintained such a jolly figure on the island all those years.

I just got caught up in a click/bait thing on Gilligan's Island and learned a lot. Strangely, no one believed the sitcom would be picked up or be popular at all. The only person who has residuals written into her contract was Dawn Wells. Of course, those ran out in like 1985 or so. Everyone else got zip. Tina Louise is the only one left. Sad about Dawn Wells. Tired of this virus which I apparently picked up somewhere. Just got tested today. Results in 3-5 days but I know I've got it. Sucks!!

Tom, you just think you have it, "right". Stay positive my friend.

I saw that earlier today so of course I burned an hour poking around Wiki.

When I saw her picture I thought wow Lovey was kinda pretty too...

Guess what...she was in her mid 60's during filming. My wifes age.

The actor who played Thurston Howell was 54 when the show was filmed in it's final season. 8 years younger than me

And they both seemed so old back then.......

Natalie Schaeffer was famous for keeping her true age a secret from everyone, including her husband while they were married. Everyone thought she was younger but yeah, she was mid-60's during Gilligan's Island and she did all the work and prat falls and such. After her death they found her date of birth was not 1912, but 1900!!! It was written into her contract that there be no closeup shots of her EVER!! She did her work and was very successful in real estate in Beverly Hills.

Don and I got our positive test results back today. So, we just stay home and medicate and wait for it to pass, hopefully. Feeling better today. We've been sick for a week now. I'm glad 2020 is almost over!!

Unless he means Gidget from the TV series which would be Sally Field, right? She's pretty alive I'm pretty sure. But Sandra Dee is for sure gone.

That is it. I am a couple years too young to have thought of Sandra Dee.
