Didn’t go to the fest today, but when I was checking out some of the museums, I came across this:

I think she said it was a ‘73 D25.

Here was an odd one. Described as a Starfire 50 BL, but it appeared to be as thick as a jazz box like the X500

Here’s the label. I assume it says Starfire 5 D BLD, not sure.

Did you buy anything?

The great thing about these shows is that it affords one the opportunity to try out and compare dozens and dozens of guitars in person, knowing that the guitar you might be considering buying is the one you actually have in your hands -- something you can't do online.

At those prices, however, I suspect most people would check their phones for online prices before coughing up their money.

I had a great time at the Dallas Guitar Show with Andrew (awagner). Makes me think of all the very nice people on the form that I miss a whole lot. I sold my 1999 Blues 90, 1977 G312, 1989 Kramer Sustainer, and 2002 Gibson Lucille, on the first day. I went the next day and sold my 1994 DV73, 1964 T 100, and 2003 Rickenbacker 620. All were in great shape. All sold to dealers in the first few minutes I arrived. I have 24 more guitars to let go.
