I picked this up from Bonedigger here on the forum this past Spring. It's a fantastic D50 in excellent condition, but I'm playing my H&D mostly these days. I really want to keep it but I could use the cash for other projects. Condition, set up, all near perfect someone will be very happy. I'll pass it on via the Forum for the same deal I got- $1200 shipped to CONUS (FIRM). Paypal Friends and Family, or tack on $36 for PP fees. I've got it listed on Ebay here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/201960454554?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 @ $1400.

I forgot I've got a Youtube video up I made shortly after I got it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nlT9VI2oOSM&lc=z13fjjtxeur3xvicn22liz2opp3bfzcut

For any lurkers out there, I urge you to grab this. If one or more of the items I have out there sells, I'll be all over this one and that's a for sure. I personally feel the D 50 may be the finest model Guild ever produced (although that's certainly up for debate).

Yeah, what richardp said - and the Tacoma D-50 specifically.

thumbs up. And the D25 arched, and perhaps the F412...:)I mean, if I had to pick 3 acoustics.

Coming from you, Richard, that's something. I mean, you have a few gitfiddles in your stable. I've had a DV-52 (which I felt was way better than the Martin 1970 D-28 I bought new) and now I have a DV-72 and D-55 with me, and I can't imagine how a D-50 can out perform a DV-72 or D-55, though the latter is something of another animal I agree.

All I know is I can tell you this D-50 is a prime example. I can't believe someone has not snatched it up yet.. even at 1400 on Ebay. If it doesn't sell soon I may let the H&D go and keep it. Only a slight nod to the H&D on my end. I'm a Virginia boy and appriciate owning a Virginia made Guitar.

Just my opinion but these are Exceptional Guitars! Honestly every one of these I have played walked circles around several other higher end guitars with similar woods that cost 2-3 times as much. Without a doubt probably the best bang for the buck under $1500 of any brand. Best of luck with the listing and if I didn't already have this tone pallet covered in my collection I would be all over this one.

Nice video demo of the D50. The burst is great. I can see why you might keep it instead of H&D. It is crisper sounding than my D50 was too. Fine dread.

Yes, I'm surprised it's still there, based on everyone's comments, and how much I would like that guitar! I couldn't put down my F50R though....
