Excellent condition. You will not find a better rosewood dread at this price anywhere. I have loved this guitar. It has great projection and tone. I have just accumulated two other great (and much more costly) rosewood dreadnaughts (and other gits) since I bought it. This D50 is louder than my DV-52. It needs to go to a good home.

Pics (better organized now) at: https://picasaweb.google.com/Davean...key=Gv1sRgCPmimfrS4IyrswE#5854922159843633522

Some nice silking on the sitka top, pretty rosewood, solid of course. High saddle. Medium action. Loads of life left on the frets. Fishman natural UST pickup.

Fender poured money and resources into the Corona, Califonia factory, and a lot of very good things were said about the Corona acoustics at the time. After several factory moves, the market is unfairly prejudiced against them.

This D50, along with many others, was liquidated with no warranty, almost certainly by an outfit called MIRC. This liquidation happened when Fender moved the factory to Tacoma, Washington. These have a barcode label obscuring the original serial number on the soundhole label, and the serial number on the back of the headstock, embossed into the wood, is tastefully obscured. You can see this in the pictures. I have the print out from the e-bay auction when I bought it and other paperwork, and I am the original owner.

The fretboard is ebony. The bridge is either rosewood or un-dyed ebony. The back of the headstock does not say Fender, as it does on some Coronas I've seen. The pickguard is a dark brown and much nicer than the red pepperoni ones I’ve seen in other Coronas.

There are a few whisker cracks in the finish around the bridge. The bridge was reglued by a master luthier and you cannot tell it. No other issues or repairs.

Hard shell case included. This is a seriously good deal for a great guitar.

No shipping outside the US, please. Paypal and U.S. Postal Money Orders only, please. 72 hour approval for LTG posters. Donation will be made to LTG.

Agreed, beautiful guitar for a great price! Love the look of the wood of the neck and the rosewood of the sides and back. Hope she finds a good home!

What a deal!!! If I didn't already have 4 dreads too many, this would be on its way to South Florida. Have a feeling it won't take long until someone makes a happy deal.
