D-55 LTG Member Review

I wanted a D-55 way back in jr high and high school in the late 70s. I never got one. I got an Ovation Legend of a used rack for 400 bucks instead. The D-55 was in the 700 dollar range. We'll I end up with one from a LTG member a few years back. It's really cool to have something you wanted for so long. I have too many other guitars to play it as much as you'd think I would.

I would be curious to play it next to someones as old as the 70s era and see how it stacks up.

Thanks. It was 468.00 with a hardcase.

Of course, IIRC, my tuition at the University of Connecticut two years later was hardly any more (under $500 a semester (not counting room and board, books, etc.))

My tuition at Cal-State San Bernardino was 600 a quarter when I started and 650 by the time I finished. It's over 2 grand a quarter now. That doesn't include any housing, of course.
