does your pickguard extend up and under your bottom E string? (I mean the high E).

I'm generating some wear there, and my GAD pickguard's not reaching up that high.

West: many thanks! I'm going to see if I can get one of these things. The GAD style pickguard helps maybe 80% of the surface. I have no idea how I'm getting, somehow, pick scratches cutting into the guitar underneath that string. But it's happening and cutting into the top.

That D50 is sure sweet! Great burst, IMO, nice armrest bit, too.
