Well... I will finally have a Guild acoustic. I won this guitar on ebay, its going to need some work but I think I will be very happy with it. The neck does have some crap on it. The Capn' suggested stripping with a knife (lots of patient work) or using nasty solvents (yuck). I will see what its like once I get the guitar. If its not too bad I may just leave it.
