They finally arrived!!!

Custom pickguards for my CA100. (thanks for those dimensions Hans as I did not have the guitar yet)

Im going to have a floating pickup installed and did not want to drill any holes into the original...so while i was looking for after market pickguards I got the idea to have them custom made instead. My brother had a guy overseas do some custom work on truss rod covers and I ended up using him for this.

The top one is modeled after the guild custom shop firebird....

Tim,

Those look great. Better than stock (imho). Especially yhe lettering.
Are those ebony? Is there some protective coating to prevent scratching.?

Yes, they are ebony. I wanted them to be black so that they would match the color of the stock pickguards.

They are not clear coated yet.... But i think i will have the guy installing the floating pickup do that.
