I've had 3 guitarsl built by a fellow by the name of Bill Gruggett. Master grade stuff and was an employee of the old Moserite factory here. Also involved with Hallmark and others. Of the 3 I only really loved 1 and that's the only one I now have left. Interestingly it was a custom quality version of an '80's Guild Bluesbird. I had a Benedetto which was not made for me but was an impossibly great guitar. Sold that when I had impossibly great money problems. (Musicians are such flakes) Also had several guitars "built to order" by the Heritage guys back when that company first started. Of the almost dozen guitars I've had built just for me I only now have one (the Guild based guitar) and only miss probably 2 others. The rest were nice to have but expensive. I'll post some of the photos I don't have in my computer sometime. This one is a Grugget of flamed mahogany. 60's vintage strat pu in the front 50's vintage tele in the rear. Looked better in person but I never really loved this guitar.
