Just a thought here. I've got two quite wonderful amps here, not getting used near enough.
- Sterling tweed bassman: a very well built, hand-wired amp, in the Victoria and Clark quality zone, NOS tubes
- Pure 64 Mean streets classic head/cab: One of the best sounding 2x6v6 amps I've come across, some NOS tubes
Meanwhile, my Guild curiosity remains strong. Some of the models I'd love to try out:
- Westerly X-150D
- CE-100, especially the earlier models with Franz p/us
- 70s X-175
Not just Guild. Mahogany bodied ES-175, non-cutaway ES-125, any interesting hollowbody. So if anyone has such guitars, interested at all in trading, and anywhere within reasonable driving distance of Northern NJ, give me a shout. Thanks!
