Very cool Scratch! Saw those guys years ago, then again at CSNY2K with Neil... They still have the magic.

Great clip Joe.

Graham was bouncing around there like a kid after his second Big Gulp of the morning while someone must have bolted David's boots to the stage.

Excellent guitar work and harmonies.

Far out, groovy and outasight...

Started out slow; their harmonies were off it seemed for the first five or six songs. They opened with 'Helplessly Hoping' which was nice, then played a couple of new tunes and warmed up their vocals with a couple of James Taylor & Stones songs. I was disappointed and told Pam so. Next thing you know, they do Guinivere and bring the house down. From that point on it was standing ovations after each song. Stills still has his guitar magic and Crosby, Nash harmonies were just like back in the day. Two encores; they finished with 'Teach Your Children'. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6pphVs8bF0

We put out more than five times the amount on Elton John & Billy Joel tickets in March. That was such a let down... For CSN we had better seats in a more intimate setting, a much better performance, and a great crowd to enjoy it with. They lit incense during a 20 minute intermission; the only other noticeable smell from the theater audience was Ben Gay... Bummer...

Only thing that would have made it more fun would have been a surprise visit by ole Neil. Regardless, we had so much fun; it was a wonderful evening. And to top it off, a very welcome rain shower on the way home. I picked til 2am and took today off,,,

You're a lucky man, Scratch. Those guys can still do it for me, especially Stills' guitar playing, and Crosby's, and Nash's singing, and Crosby's, and Stills... you get the idea.

It's also interesting to me that even for those guys, who've been singing together for so long, sometimes the harmonies are off, or take a few songs to lock in. You'd think they'd have it down pat at this point. I'm not sure what to make of that.

thanks
Bill

Nice review Scratch.

I read the entertainment line up for the upcoming Western Wa State Fair a couple days ago. Noticed Crosby Still & Nash will be playing the Puyallup Fairgrounds Sept 14

Can you say Puyallup: "Phew-al-up"
