Craigslist Search Corruption

My Craig's List Searches for "Guild Guitar" (yes believe it or not that's what I search for!) have suddenly been corrupted with puppies and porn. Do I need to close my account or is there another remedy?

Weird, my saved guild guitars search is not corrupted, as I still get lots of effects pedals come up. Truth be told I’ve got to stay off of there, it’s so bad for the wallet!

A lot depends upon exactly how you are searching. For example I got no porn puppies searching at https://www.searchcraigslist.net/results?q=Guild Guitars but that doesn't require an account.

I'd log out of the account, clear cookies associated with the site you are using, log back in and try again.

If you are one of those people who allows the browser or site to remember your user credentials and remain logged in make sure you know your password before you do this.

Good advice. I never accept cookies, no matter what. If a site requires it, I go elsewhere.

I never let any site remember any of my info — especially credit card specifics.

I also use the Block feature on my Yahoo account. That gets rid a lot of jerks, too.

My wife also empties her History cache whenever she's done online. Can't hurt.

I go to All Of Craigslist and type in whatever I'm looking for. I've never seen any porn or puppies. I found one of my Rickenbacker 12 strings that way.

Same here. I was getting craigslist email notifications for guild listings but I canceled it yesterday. A few days ago the notices started to include every camper / utility trailer newly posted.

Better keep my wife off it....we have 4 dogs....don't need no puppies.

I don't have a CL account, didn't know that was an option. What really kills me is FB marketplace Type in Jaguar for instance and even tho you sort by nearest you get Buicks from 1,700 miles away.
