Chet Atkins playing a fretless guitar?

I’ve seen and even played around on a fretless bass, but never seen a fretless guitar. Only good look you get is at the beginning and end of the clip. I hope this works?

Of course, almost all single line stuff except at the end of a phrase. I think I heard Chet play some partial chords, too, but it could have been the Strat guy chiming in along with him.

I was gloriously entertained, 3 guitars in there going at it pretty good.

Now Harry tells me it's pretty simple stuff. Makes sense, I was thinking it was magnificent.

Note the guitar has "flush frets" - lines on the fingerboard where the frets would be.
