Cool, Larry. Thanks for the review. I saw an ad for this in the latest AG and it looked very unobtrusive, which appeals to me. I just bought a Kyser capo for my classical while I was out of town. It was all they had in the store. It works well enough but it looks like it could pick up shortwave, too.

I use shubb, kyser, victor and paige capos.
I like them all for different reasons.
The shubb is my facorite for 12 strings.
I like kysers for my 6 strings because of the way they clamp on the head, but they do get in the way at times while being used.
I have a kyser for my 12 string and it's alright but I have to reclamp it a few times to get the tention even across the neck.
My victor broke after only a little use. I liked it a lot, but it was too fragile.
My paige is new and so far so good.
It is the least bulk and doesn't interfere as much as the others.
I will buy more paige capos.

I know that we have discussed capos before but, I just got one of these and I must say I like it as well or better than anything I have used before.
Small, well made and completly unobtrusive. I am thinking of getting one for all of my guitars to keep in there respective cases.Just thought I would pass this on. :|

When I travel I have always with me an old small Dunlop that everybody knows.

The kyser have a fine shape but I've broken two for 6 strings. One time the handle and an other the spring.

Now I've bought 2 metal Dunlop, one nickel and one gold. You can used them for 6 or 12 string. They are strong, easy and speed to move on the neck.

I got one of the Planet Waves NS capos while at the 2007 Merlefest. The sales rep in the musical instrument/accessories tent showed it to me and explained the ease of use, how it totally fretted all of the strings with little effort and the small, compact design. For $15 I couldn't believe it! I had been using the Keyser capos for years but now they have been retired.

THis little capo is the best one I have seen or used. Very small, light and not in the way.

I needed B flat today, at least I think it's B flat, whatever it is, sounds pretty good playing over one of Guildmark's tunes.

Mark's a pretty good player & I needed two guitars, first one's a G7 & the 2nd a Kyser. Both of em work pretty well, Kyzer's probly quicker, G7 more precise.

Don't know who made the 3rd capo, It's the first one I bought 30+ (?) years ago. Don't like it a bit, spring is much too strong, tweaks the tuning in a bad way. I've used welding clamps that have less torque.

None of them made nearly as much difference as lessons.

Personally I use the Kyser - easy and quick. Many people I know swear by the G7 - it looks neat and won't get in the way. I 've also gotten one with a nylon strap that I've had for years and kinda levers shut with pegs that fit in teeth (don't know what it was called, but it was cheap  ). Keep it in the Epi case and use it on the EPI if I don't remember the Kyser

I have now just acquired a G 7th, and like it. It had it's first public performance last night, an dhas pride of place in the Guild case - the Kyser has now gone to The Epi case :)

This is what I use, it's even long enough for my F312 12-stringer as well. Just all around great capo.
