Can’t complain about the weather.

Here it is November 5th, it’s 43 degrees, and I’m still out riding the motorcycle. :D Normally its 10 to 15 degrees colder this time of year, roads covered in snow and the bike is in storage. I’m enjoying this fall weather, but alas…it won’t last much longer. :(

I do…I’m bald! It’s ok though. I like the fact that ALL my hair care products come from Coppertone.

Record-high temps in the Northwest on Wednesday, but November arrived today! Temperature dropped 20 degrees and we now have good old soaker-hose rain upon us.
It's like walking inside a very wet cloud....but we love it! 8)

But some love it more than others.

We've had lows in the 30's here Joe. Geese migrations flying over....my favorite time of the year.

I'll second that emotion, Jim.
We'll have close to 50,000 Snow Geese in the general area this winter, if all the predictions pan out.
I can't wait to get out and shoot 'em....with my Nikon, that is.

Stay warm and cozy at the Lazy B,
Joe

Cold and clear skies here today and by Monday 50 degrees and sunny for a few days...if I had a motorcycle I would be having a few road trips for sure!

Re: Can’t complain about the weather.

November is my favorite month of the hill country year. Bright sunny days typically in the 70's (San Diego weather) and 40s at night. Living in the country, the stars are as big & bright as the song says: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXEZuAfx ... re=related

On Monday, Kacey (our Sammy) and I walked two miles down the road through the preserve to where the Guadalupe river feeds Canyon Lake. Temp in the low 60's; cloudless bright sunny morn; no humidity. The water was absolutely calm; fish jumping; and other than the birds & deer, not a sound or soul around us. We just sat on the bank taking in God's handiwork wishing I had brought my fishing pole. After a while we slowly headed back up the hill towards home.

This retirement thing ain't so bad after all... :D
