Can Someone Help With The New Tacoma Serial Numbers?

I can't seem to find anything regarding the significance of the serial numbers for the new Tacoma guitars.

Mine is T1234006 and handwritten

Gibson has this first & fifth number/year setup, middle 3 digits are the month and day, last 3 numbers indicate which guitar made that day.

Does anyone know if Fender is doing the same type thing with Guilds?

Hello Strat God,

For the record, digit two, three and four of the Gibson system indicate the day of the year, so that would be 001-365. It's not the month and day!

Fender is not doing the same thing with the Tacoma Guilds.
Right now it goes like this:

In your case it's T for Tacoma and the second digit is an I (not a 1) which is the code for 2005. J is the code for 2006 etc. etc.

Hope they will tell me when they change it!
