Cakeknife neck question.....

Does anyone else have a cake knife type neck that has flame in the maple? And more specifically, a bolt on?
My new GX has a nice flamey neck. I think this is the first of this type I've seen flame in.

I bought a foot neck from Ebay, even though matsickma had said there was a reason those may not fit a T-250. The neck is a scootch narrower in the neck pocket. Also, as vanilla a maple as you can get.

Hey Default,

I was worried the slightly narrow "foot" headstock might be a bit narrow.

I did see a T250 with a "foot" neck years back but at the time I didn't know the necks were slightly narrower.

Good to know the "foot" or "cake knief" necks work. I just can't take a T-250 with the offset "shredder" headstock!

No, they don't work. They are too narrow and you're going to shim the bass side. The treble side will have a shelf.
