Hans, sorry to put this on the forum but I tried to contact you through the website about getting a new bridge for my SFIII, one that's compensated for unwound G. Can you get in touch?

Cheers

Hi
Speaking out of turn here, as the question is not addressed to me, but I was able to buy one from elderly instruments just this week: http://www.elderly.com (I also did not get a reply from Hans)

To people who contact me through my website

If you have not heard back from me after contacting me through my website, it means that my answer has been returned to me as undeliverable. I do not know why that is! I usually answer most inquiries within a couple of days.

Try contacting me with another e-mail address and hopefully my answer will not bounce.

So far I've had trouble answering to messages that came through the following e-mail providers:
verizon.net, comcast.net, aol.com and yahoo.com

I'm really sorry about this but at this point there's nothing that I can do about it.

Sincerely,

Hans Moust

Just for info, when I had an early 60's SF-III, it was equipped with a Melita bridge -- six individually sliding pieces that were secured with small screws that had a knurled knob on each.

I didn't much like it then because I used to rest my wrist on the bridge and get sore spots -- yeah, bad technique. Replaced it with a Guild fixed wooden bridge.
