BTW, Don Williams was a big influence on Clapton in the late 70s and early 80s.
Indeed as he covered "Tulsa Time". Our band does the Clapton version but since Eric sort of "rolls" into the intro with piano being a live version we went back and started it with the original Don Williams intro played in Clapton's key!

Clapton's Version

Don Williams Original

With the simple two chord progression we almost always get the ladies up and line dancing to it!

Years ago, someone sent me a email blurb of quotes. Most were good. But one stood out and I keep it with me always:

"Inside every older person, is a younger person wondering what the F**K happened?"

Tom in Vegas

Everyday Tom. Everyday. It goes by so quickly.

BTW West.........you did a fine job with Don's tune.

Peace

  :) Gawlee....thanks guys. I really am not worthy. It really is a pretty bad recording, I wish I knew how to do it. That one has been on the Soundclick page for a while. Thank you Darryl, Doc and Joe very much.
