Hi there
I have a bluesbird serial CL002188 and am trying to date it as welle as trying to figure out what pickups it has. they looklike a cross between p90 and humbuckers as tthey are silver with the screws running down the centre like a p90. Can you please help with this.

Hello Sam,

Welcome! Your Bluesbird with serial # CL002188 is from the year 2000. From the description of the pickups I would think that they were replaced by one of the 'aftermarket' P-90 designs in a humbucking format.
There are quite a few in this style available these days so I would suggest looking at the bottom side of the pickup to see if there's some kind of I.D. on the unit. You can also post a photo of the pickups. Maybe someone will recognize them.
